Kastar is a beautiful neighborhood café in Ixelles.
Typical café for a stressless moment and a warm atmosphere. A place to be to enjoy a real good Italian Coffee at the counter with a delicious croissant or breakfast.
Either for a working moment during the day or a great cocktail with amazing DJ’s in the evening this is the place to be in Ixelles.
Also the golden restroom is worth the detour.
To make it a warm and local, Kristof asked me to find antique Bistro / Thonet chairs in a warm wood and tables of old bistro and bars.
For the outside, we looked for a serie of vintage folding chairs and tables that where used for rentals and events in a previous life.
The kastar team painted the tops in a nice vintage green to give them a special and unique “Kastar look”. It was a real honor to look for these pieces and work with Kristof on this beautiful, warm and unique project. Check out their instagram for more info @kastar.cafe
